We have introduced an invoice feature in our tomato pay app. This allows small businesses and sole traders to create and manage invoices in a few clicks making collecting payments an easier task!
This has been created to support professionals making payment collection a simpler and quicker task. Invoices can be created easily in a few clicks and will automatically include a payment link.
Payments links, included on the invoice, contain all the information the payer will need to complete the transaction (sort code and account number of the beneficiary, reference and amount due) making the process quicker and more secure.

How do customers pay?
By clicking the payment link on the invoice, the payer will be able to choose the bank they wish to pay with. Once they have chosen the bank, the payer will access their online banking website or app where they will be able to authorise the payment. We won’t see any security details the payer enters to get into their bank account.
